48 Displaced In Woodbridge Apartment Fire: Officials
The blaze broke out at Woodbridge Station Apartments shortly before 4:20 p.m. Friday, Prince William County fire officials said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Nearly 50 people were displaced Friday when a fire broke out at a Woodbridge apartment complex, according to Prince William County Fire & Rescue officials.
Officials said firefighters were called to the Woodbridge Station Apartments in the 4400 block of Hamilton Drive shortly before 4:20 p.m. Friday. When fire crews arrived, officials said there were already heavy flames coming from the fourth floor of the building.
A total of 14 apartments were affected by the blaze, displacing 48 residents, according to officials.

No injuries were reported.
Authorities said the building was not equipped with a sprinkler system, which contributed to the extensive damage.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. The blaze was one of four contained by Prince William County firefighters in the span of an hour Friday.
