Attempted Sexual Assault Reported On Smoketown Road: Police
A woman told police that a stranger pulled down her clothes and tried to sexually assault her on Monday morning on Smoketown Road.

WOODBRIDGE, VA —A stranger tried to sexually assault a woman who was walking along Smoketown Road on Monday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
The victim, a 25-year-old woman, did not report any injuries during the attempted sexual assault.
The victim described the suspect as a tall man wearing a white sweater. Authorities have not located or identified the suspect.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Monday morning in the 14000 block of Smoketown Road. The victim told investigators that she was walking in the area when an unknown man grabbed her.
The two people struggled and the suspect pulled the victim's clothes down. Eventually, the victim pulled away from the man and ran away. She then told a family member what happened and contacted authorities.

The police department noted that no weapons were used in the attempted sexual assault.
