Attempted Sexual Assault Of Unconscious Man Reported In Dale City

Authorites are looking for a man who is accused of attempting to sexually assault an unconcious man in Dale City on Saturday morning.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — An unknown man attempted to sexually assault an unconscious man in Woodbridge on Saturday morning, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. Now, authorities are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

Police were called to the 4300 block of Glendale Road in Woodbridge on Saturday morning for a report of an unconscious man. A witness told police that they observed an unknown man appear to sexually assault a 59-year-old man. The witness said the assault occurred in the wooded area behind a residence, according to the police report.

The police also said that the man appeared to go through the victim's pockets before fleeing the area. When rescue personnel arrived on the scene, they determined that the victim was unconscious, authorities said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, according to the police report. Authorities said they did not know whether the suspect took any of the victim's property.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned man wearing a black/white baseball-style cap, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with an image on the front, light-colored pants, and white sneakers.
