DUMFRIES, VA — A bank robber stole from the TD Bank in Dumfries on Friday afternoon, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Residents can expect to see police officers in the area throughout the afternoon as they investigate.

No injuries were reported in the robbery. Authorities also noted that witnesses did not see any weapon during the robbery.

Authorities described the bank robber as man who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and green pants.

The police department said the suspect walked into the bank and took money before running away.
