Update: 1 In Custody After Woodbridge Barricade Incident: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was taken into custody after a barricade situation at a home in Ballerina Loop in Woodbridge, the Prince William County Police Department said on Thursday afternoon.

"Residents can expect increased police presence in the 15300 block of Ballerina Lp. in Woodbridge while investigating a possible barricaded individual who is contained to a residence," the police department wrote on social media. "There is no active threat to the community. No injuries have been reported."

Authorities noted that there were no injuries from the incident and the home has since been cleared.
