WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities found a body in a tent near Potomac Mills on Friday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

The police department has not publicly named the deceased as they work to confirm their identity and inform their family. Authorities said there were "no obvious signs of trauma."

Around 11:30 a.m. on Friday morning, first responders were called to the 14700 block of Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge. Personnel from the community services personnel said they had found a body in a tent in the woods.

Authorities took the body to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to the death, police said.
