Car Left Running Stolen With 1-Year-Old Inside: Prince William Police
Officers chased the stolen vehicle, with small child inside, before the driver bolted from the car in Woodbridge.

DUMFRIES, VA โ A Woodbridge man was arrested Friday after stealing a running vehicle Thursday night with a 1-year-old inside and later bolting from the vehicle during a police chase that ended with the vehicle crashing into a parked car, according to Prince William County Police.
The 1-year-old boy wasn't injured.
Anthony Dantey McArthur, 21, of the 1800 block of Old Post Terrace, was charged with grand larceny, abduction, child endangerment, felony eluding, hit and run, resisting arrest and driving on a revoked license.

Around 11 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a vehicle theft in the 18000 block of Fraley Boulevard where a 51-year-old man said he parked his unlocked-and-running vehicle beside his wife, who was in another vehicle, while going to a nearby business.
While inside, the victim told police, an unknown man hopped into the vehicle and sped away.

Police spotted the vehicle on northbound Jefferson Davis Highway near Cardinal Drive and gave chase but McArthur didn't stop, turned onto Blackburn Road and then went to Winslow Court, where he bolted from the apparently still-moving vehicle, which then hit a parked car.
He was found shortly afterward by a police K-9 unit.
McArthur is being held without bond.
