The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on April 29 at the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Colby Drive in Woodbridge. Authorities reported that a 2020 Kia Sorento was stopped at a red light at the intersection before the crash.
Holman was driving a 2011 Ford F-150 truck and failed to stop, according to the police report. He crashed into the back of the Kia.
The truck continued off the road and hit a light pole before stopping. Holman left the scene of the crash before police officers arrived, according to the police report.
Kuhn was a passenger in the truck, police said. First responders took him to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver of the Kia, who police did not identify, also received treatment at a hospital for injuries. Their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
