Driver Flees Overturned Vehicle After Chase, Arrested in Woodbridge: Police
Man left 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle, escaped on foot, and then was arrested a week later.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge man who led police on a high-speed chase last Thursday before his vehicle smashed into a guard rail on Telegraph Road and overturned, with the driver then fleeing the scene on foot and leaving a teenage passenger in the vehicle was arrested Tuesday, according to Prince William County Police.
Jeffrey Scott Perry, 35, of the 2400 block of Drexel Street, was charged with child neglect, felony eluding and hit and run.
The passenger, a 17-year-old male, suffered minor injuries.

Around 6:30 p.m. last Thursday, police tried to pull over a vehicle in the area of Caton Hill Road and Minnieville Road for a traffic violation. The driver, police say, then sped up and headed north on Minnieville Road before getting onto Telegraph Road and crashing.
