Driver Of Stolen Car Flees Head-On Crash In Woodbridge: Police
Two people were injured Tuesday night when they were struck head-on in Woodbridge by a car previously reported as stolen, police said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two people suffered serious injuries Tuesday night when they were struck head-on in Woodbridge by a Scion TC that was previously reported stolen from the Fredericksburg area, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
On Tuesday at 10:15 p.m., police officers went to the intersection of Route 1 and Mary’s Way in Woodbridge to investigate a hit-and-run crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2015 Scion TC was traveling north on Route 1, approaching Mary’s Way, when it struck a 2007 Nissan X-Terra head-on.
The driver of the Scion fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan prior to police arriving at the location. Both the 27-year-old driver and 31-year-old male occupant of the Nissan were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The police said the Scion had been stolen in the Fredericksburg area. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 16 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes.
