Dumfries Homicide Suspect Captured On Surveillance Footage: Police
Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a man who was pictured shooting and killing a man in Dumfries last month.

DUMFRIES, VA — Authorities have released surveillance footage of a suspect who shot and killed a man in Dumfries on Nov. 12. The police department is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
Authorities identified the victim as 44-year-old Demetrious Lavar Graham. He was pronounced dead at the scene in the area of Morgan Court and Old Triangle Road, according to the police report.
Just after 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 12, officers were called to the area of Williamstown and Old Triangle roads after multiple people reported hearing gunshots. When officers arrived, they found a car near Morgan Court that was struck by gunfire, police said.

Officers found a man, Graham, inside the car with gunshot injuries, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A police K-9 searched the area and found no one else nearby, police said.
Newly released surveillance video shows a shirtless man fire multiple shots at Graham's vehicle. The shooter then ran away as Graham's vehicle rolled forward before stopping when it hit a parked car.
