Pack up the family and come out to for various workshops held by the Science Museum of Virginia. Each student is limited to no more than 2 workshops and the evening program, and registration is required in person or over the phone beginning July 21.
The Simply Shocking program is open to students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. During this special evening program students will experience 100,000 volts of static electricity from the Van de Graaff generator while learning about lightning and the forces of nature. There is a 150 student limit for this event. Free tokens will be handed out starting at 6:30 p.m. for this free event. Registration is not required for this program.
