Fall Job Fair in Woodbridge on Saturday

Prince William County hosting event at the Ferlazzo Building.

There will be a number of companies looking for employees at the Prince William County Fall Job Fair on Oct. 18 at the Dr. AJ Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Drive in Woodbridge, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Elijah Johnson, Director of the Prince William County Department of Housing and Community Development, said some of the employers, which include Hilton Garden Hotel, Prince William County Government, and OmniRide, will be at the fair and might be looking to hire on the spot.

Johnson said people should come with plenty of resumes, dress for success and be prepared for onsite interviews. “These employers are actively seeking employees right now. These are companies that have job openings.”

The job fair is open to the public, Johnson said. “It’s not just our clients we’re trying to reach. We’re also pushing out to the general public, as well.”

There will also be workshops on how to build resumes and how to hone interview skills.
