After Woodbridge Man Dies In Quadruple Shooting, Fundraiser Aims To Bury Him In Honduras

WOODBRIDGE, VA — On Friday afternoon, started opened fire at a gathering inside a Woodbridge home. Three people were fatally shot, including 41-year-old Luis Alonzo Salgado-Rivas.
Now, Salgado-Rivas's family is raising money to bury him in his native Honduras.
Denilson Majano started the GoFundMe on Monday morning. So far, the fundraiser has earned $430 toward a $10,000 goal.

Any financial support will go to Salgado-Rivas's family, Majano said. They need the financial support to take their loved one's body back to Honduras and have a funeral, according to the fundraiser.
Police officers are still investigating the shooting that killed Salgado-Rivas, 37-year-old Edwin Geovanny Salmeron, and 23-year-old Kevin Josue Vallecillo Mendoza. A fourth person, a 21-year-old man was also shot, but he is expected to recover, authorities said.

No suspects have been identified in connection with the shooting, which occurred at a home in Birchdale on Friday afternoon.
Investigators learned there was a gathering in the home when one of the attendees took out a firearm and began firing, hitting the four victims. Other people ran from the house after the shooting, including the suspected shooter, police said.
Officers found Salmeron dead outside the house, and three other men injured inside the house, authorities said. Officers provided first aid to the victims until fire and rescue personnel arrived at the scene.
"This incident does not appear to be random," Prince William County police said.
