Fatal Shooting: Suspect Arrested in Death of Woodbridge High Teen
Prince William County Police also have a potential motive in the killing.

Prince WIlliam County Police has charged a suspect in the shooting death of Brenden Michael Wilson, a 16-year-old Woodbridge High student killed Monday afternoon near the school campus.
Kawain Tyrell Smalls, 20, of 12704 Dulcinea Place, Woodbridge, is charged with murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Smalls was apprehended Tuesday at his home without incident, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.

“The investigation into this case has indicated that the shooting was drug related and that both parties were known to one another,” according to Perok.
