Flash Flood Watch for Region Monday

A flash flood watch is in effect for Prince William County from noon until 6 a.m. Tuesday as thunderstorms arrive and stick around through the night.
“Some of the storms will contain torrential downpours which may lead to flash flooding,” according to the NWS statement. “Hourly rainfall rates within the thunderstorms may exceed 1 to 2 inches per hour.”
