Halloween Events: Spooky Park and Pool Fun in Woodbridge

There’s no time to be scared this Halloween season — as long as you’re having fun! Here are a few events from Prince William County Parks and Recreation.

Boo at the Pool

7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, Sharron Baucom Dale City Rec Center. Games, giveaways, face painting, halloween decorations. $14 for family of four. Free for Dale City Rec Center passholders.

Halloween Hustle 5K Run

9-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center. Celebrate Halloween in style at family-friendly 5K run. The course will include flats, rolling hills as well as gravel, grass and asphalt. A long sleeve T-shirt will be given to the first 75 runners to register. Refreshments available after run. $20 for ages 19 and over. $15 for ages 18 and under. $5 added to registration after Oct. 10. Register online.

Spooky Splash Bash

5-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center. Carnival in the gym from 5-7 p.m. with costume contest, creepy cafeteria, carnival games and crafts. Spooky Splash at the pool from 7-9 p.m. with face painting, pool party activities and swimming. $5 per person, $17 family 4-pack. Chinn passholder discount: $3 per person and $10 for family 4- pack.
