Hospital Havoc: Two Disturbances Lead to Arrests in Woodbridge
In once case, suspect removed his clothes and ran through the ER, according to Prince William County Police.

In two cases in the past week, a hospital trying to help sick patients was the scene of outbursts, assaults and eventual arrests.
At 5:59 p.m. Nov. 29, officers responded to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center at 2300 Opitz Blvd. A patient later identified as Reginald Lance Bailey, 24, of the 4800 block of Ebb Tide Ct, Dumfries, had become disorderly during treatment.
“During the encounter, the accused struck a member of the hospital staff before removing his clothing and running around the ER,” according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok. ”An officer on an unrelated call at the hospital attempted to detain the accused and was assaulted.”

Additional officers responded to the scene to take Bailey into custody. Minor injuries were reported.
Bailey was charged with assault & battery on a LEO and assault & battery.

At 9:26 p.m. Monday night, officers returned to Sentara regarding another disorderly call. The patient this time, identified as Philip Joseph Fortunato, 21, of no fixed address, was reportedly intoxicated and became disorderly during treatment.
“An officer working an off-duty assignment at the hospital attempted to detain the accused. During the encounter, the accused struck the officer in the chest,” Perok said in a statement.
The accused was eventually taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
Fortunato is charged with assault & battery on a LEO and public intoxication.
