The typical foster stay is between two weeks and two months, depending on the needs of the individual animals. The timeframe of each foster situation will be discussed ahead of time.
Foster families provide housing and bedding for the animals in their care. They also provide exercise and socialization.
The Animal Shelter provides food, toys and medical care for animals in foster homes, including medications and vaccinations – and a cage/crate if necessary.
