Man Accused Of Raping Sleeping Woman At Woodbridge Party: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man is wanted by police after investigators said he sexually assaulted a sleeping woman at a Woodbridge party earlier this month.

Authorities identified the man as 33-year-old Alphonso Page. Police officers have been unable to find him since obtaining a warrant for his arrest.

The Prince William County Police Department said Page is a Black man who is about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 255 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Page is charged with one count of rape. If convicted, Page could face a life sentence, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.

The incident occurred on March 18 at the Potomac Vista apartments in Woodbridge. The victim, a 25-year-old woman, fell asleep at the apartment after a gathering, authorities said.

She woke up to an unknown man sexually assaulting her, according to the police report. Detectives identified Page as the suspect, but they have not been able to find him.
