Man Arrested For Assaulting Older Relative in Woodbridge: Police
After failing to cut the victim with a knife, the suspect whacked him in the head with a blunt object, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man who tried to attack a 56-year-old family member with a knife and then whacked him in the head with a blunt object Dec. 30 before fleeing in the 14800 block of Emberdale Drive was arrested Saturday, according to Prince William County Police.
Aaron Sean Emery, 26, of the 7600 block of Marin Woods Court in Lorton, was charged with two counts of malicious wounding, one count of cutting during the commission of a felony and one count of threats by electronic means.
He was found in Fairfax and is being held without bond.

Shortly after 8 p.m., police responded to the scene and found that the victim had been involved in an argument with Emery, after which he he tried and failed to cut the victim and then hit him, causing minor injuries.
