Man Arrested For Assaulting Woman In Woodbridge: Police
A man forced his way into a woman's Woodbridge home, assaulted her and later led police on a foot chase before being arrested: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man forced his way into a woman's home in the 13600 block of Bentley Circle, assaulted her and later led police on a foot chase before being arrested Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police. Germaine Creadle Palmer, 25, of the 3100 block of Butterfly Way in Dumfries, was charged with burglary, domestic assault and battery and destruction of property.
Shortly before noon, police went to the residence for a reported domestic assault. The victim, 21, said she was leaving her home when she was approached by Palmer, an acquaintance. He grabbed her cell phone and threw it to the ground, breaking it.
When the woman went back inside her home, Palmer forced his way inside through the front door and assaulted her before eventually fleeing. Later that day, police found him in the area of Smoketown Road and Prince William Parkway. He ran from officers before being caught on Shoppers Best Way.
