A man sexually assaulted a woman during an at-home massage service in Woodbridge on Wednesday, according to the police department.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man sexually assaulted a woman during an at-home massage service in Woodbridge on Wednesday, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
The woman, who police identified as a 22-year-old, reported minor injuries. She was taken to a hospital to receive treatment.
Authorities identified the man as 33-year-old Istiaq Ahmed Rafi. He is charged with 2 counts of forcible sodomy, 1 count of sexual battery, 1 count of abduction, 1 count of brandishing a firearm, 1 count of possession of a firearm with a controlled substance, 1 count of possession of a controlled substance, 1 count of possession of stolen property.

Rafi is being held without bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center and his court date is pending.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Wednesday at a home in the 14700 block of Tamarack Place in Woodbridge. During their investigation, police officers determined that Rafi arranged an at-home massage with the victim.

When the masseuse came to the home, Rafi pulled out a gun, police said. He then sexually assaulted the victim multiple times, according to the police report.
The victim was eventually able to contact a friend who called the police.
Officers arrived on the scene and took Rafi into custody. They found the gun and determined that it was stolen, authorities said.
