Man Shot, Killed In Woodbridge On Wednesday Evening: Police
A 21-year-old man died after he was shot on Georgetown Road in Woodbridge on Wednesday night, according to the police department.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot on Georgetown Road in Woodbridge on Wednesday evening, the Prince William County Police Department said. The people responsible are still at large, according to authorities.
Police identified the victim as Brian Darnell Marshall III, a Woodbridge resident.
Another man, who police only identified as a 26-year-old, also suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. Authorities said his injuries were not life-threatening.

The police department has not been able to publicly identify any suspects.
The shooting occurred around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday evening. At that time, officers found a Marshall lying on the sidewalk in the 16600 block of Georgetown Road; he was suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the police report.

Officers provided first aid until rescue personnel arrived and an ambulance took Marshall to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries. An ambulance also took the 26-year-old victim to an area hospital.
Through their investigation, officers determined that the two victims and a third man were standing on the sidewalk when two other men emerged from an alley. The two unknown men started shooting as the other three men ran away, the police department said.
Several vehicles were struck by gunshots, but no other injuries were reported, according to authorities. A police helicopter searched the area, but officers were unable to find the shooters.
