Man Sought In Connection With Domestic Assault Case: Police
Law enforcement is searching for a Woodbridge man who allegedly assaulted and shot at two women over the weekend.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police are asking for the public's help locating a man wanted in connection with a domestic assault that took place over the weekend. Robert Vincent Cox Jr., 30, is wanted on a variety of charges including domestic assault and battery.
According to police, officers responded to the 2500 block of Blue Pool Drive just before 2 p.m. to investigate a domestic call during which the suspect, later identified as Cox, allegedly used a weapon. The victims, a 53-year-old woman and a 33-year-old woman, reported to police they were involved in an argument with Cox when he allegedly assaulted one of the women and damaged the home and a vehicle.
The victims eventually called police, and Cox fled the area in a 2003 Silver Honda Accord with Virginia license plate VYZ1882. As he left, he allegedly fired a shot at one of the victims.

Neither of the victims were injured, police said. Arrest warrants were obtained for Cox on charges of attempted aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, reckless handling of a firearm, domestic assault and battery, and destruction of property.
