WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was stabbed in Woodbridge on Wednesday night. The Prince William County Police Department said the victim boarded a bus after he was stabbed.

The victim, a 53-year-old man, was taken to a hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.

The police department has not made any arrests in connection with the stabbing.

The stabbing occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday near Constellation Place and Oriskany Way in Woodbridge. Police said the victim was in the woods with two people he knew and a stranger. An argument broke out between the stranger and the victim.

At one point, the man pulled out a box cutter and sliced the victim in the shoulder and the hand, according to the police report. The victim boarded a bus afterwards and passengers called for help when they noticed he was bleeding.

Police officers and a K-9 searched the area but they were not able to find a suspect.
