WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge man is facing multiple charges after Prince William County Police said he allegedly took a woman's cell phone before assaulting her and chasing her with a knife. Aaron McForest Wagner, 35, is now facing one charge of abduction, two charges of domestic assault and battery, and one charge of preventing the summoning of law enforcement.

According to police, Wagner and a 28-year-old female acquaintance were at a residence in the 15100 block of Leichestershire Street when they got into a verbal argument that escalated. Eventually, police said Wagner took the woman's cell phone before assaulting her.

At one point, police said Wagner pushed the victim, causing her to fall and hit her head, rendering her unconscious for a brief period of time. When the victim woke, she was able to get out of the house, police said, but Wagner allegedly followed her and brandished a knife while making threats against her.
