Manassas Man Exposed Himself At Potomac Mills Mall: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man exposed himself at the Potomac Mills mall on New Year's Day, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Mall employees also accused the man of stealing merchandise.

Authorities identified the suspect as Moses Davon Childs, a 22-year-old man from Manassas. He is charged with one count of indecent exposure, one count of providing false identity to law enforcement, and one count of petit larceny.

Childs is being held without bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center. His next court date is scheduled for Feb. 6.

Police officers were called to the Hugo Boss store in the mall around 6 p.m. on Sunday. A store employee reported that a man entered the store while exposing himself. The man then took a jacket and left without paying for it, according to the police report.

The suspect, who police later identified as Childs, tried to run away but was taken into custody by police officers. Authorities claimed that Childs provided a false name to the officers.
