BRISTOW, VA — A 69-year-old Bristow man reported missing Thursday was found dead Friday afternoon, according to Prince William County police. Abdul Satar Musawir was found in the area of Arcadia Park Drive, police said, and no signs of foul play were reported.

Musawir was last seen at his home on Magic Springs Way around 3 p.m. and was considered endangered due to Alzheimer's disease. Police said due to his cognitive impairment, Musawir liked to hide, prompting police to ask residents in the area of near Sudley Manor Drive and Linton Hall Road to check under decks and in outbuildings.

Virginia State Police had issued a senior alert Friday morning on behalf of Prince William police, but canceled it later in the day.
