Missing Woman: Video Shows Hour Before She Disappeared

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A new video shows a missing woman on April 17 — three days before her car was found near her workplace in Woodbridge.

Lizeth Yadira Lopez, 36, of Alexandria was reported missing by her family on April 19.

Officers found her car a day later near Pond Run Drive in Woodbridge, but searches of the area over the past week have not helped locate Lopez.

Detectives learned that Lopez left a CVS store at Touchstone Circle around 9 p.m. April 17 and have released video of her entering the store. The last known contact with Lopez was one hour later.

On April 22, members of the Prince William County Police and Fairfax County Police search and rescue teams, along with helicopter assistance and canines from the Fairfax County Fire Department and Virginia State Police searched the area near where Lopez’s was found.

"After an extensive search of the wooded areas near that location nothing of note was found," according to a PWCPD statement. Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency line at 703-792-6500.
