Moped Rider Killed In Woodbridge Crash: Police
A Woodbridge man died on Sunday morning in Woodbridge after a car crashed into his moped, the Prince William County Police Department said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A moped rider died after a car crashed into him in Woodbridge on Sunday morning, the Prince William County Police Department said.
Authorities identified the rider as 67-year-old Junaid Mahmood Qureshi of Woodbridge.
The police department has not announced any charges for the driver involved in the crash.

The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday morning near the intersection of Smoke Court and Neabsco Mills Road in Woodbridge. Investigators said the moped rider was driving southbound on Neabsco Mills Road.
As he approached the stop line of the intersection with Smoke Court, a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu crashed into the back of the moped, authorities said. The collision threw the moped rider from his vehicle and onto the Malibu's windshield before he rolled to the ground.

First responders pronounced Qureshi deceased at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu stayed at the scene after the crash. Investigators do not believe that speed, alcohol, or drug use were factors in the crash.
Authorities are still investigating what caused the crash.
