No Credible Threat of Danger at Forest Park High: Police

Graffiti scrawled in bathroom warned of violent acts Friday; extra security in place as precaution.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Anyone alarmed by graffiti in a Forest Park High School bathroom warning of violent acts Friday shouldn't be, according to Prince William County Police and school officials.

"No credible threat," is how officials describe the scrawl.

Even so, perhaps to assuage concern, extra security is planned, and the public will be immediately notified if there's any indication of actual danger.

The graffiti warned of violent acts on October 28. Despite finding no credible threat, police take the warning seriously.

Extra security is planned to ensure safety.

Police continue to investigate. Law enforcement and school officials will alert the public if there is any indication of actual danger or the need for additional safety measures. Again, they say they currently find no credible threat and the school remains safe.
