• Police Arrest Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Food Lion Employee In Woodbridge (patch.com) — Woodbridge residents may want to know that a Food Lion employee reported being sexually assaulted inside the Dillingham Square store on Aug. 20, leading to the arrest of a 41-year-old local man. Police said the suspect inappropriately touched the worker, grabbed her arm, and then left, before being located two days later and charged with sexual battery and assault and battery.
   

• Woodbridge Man Accused Of Sexually Exploiting Children Faces Federal Plea Hearing (patch.com) — Neighbors in Woodbridge should be aware that a local man is facing a federal charge of sexual exploitation of children and has a pre-indictment plea hearing scheduled in Alexandria this week. Investigators say they uncovered thousands of suspected child sexual abuse images and videos, many allegedly recorded with hidden cameras in the bathroom of his Chelmer Court home, involving multiple identified minors over many years.
