Pedestrian Hit By Two Cars In Fatal Triangle Accident: Police
An investigation revealed that Zorka Vezovic of Woodbridge died after being hit by two cars while attempting to cross a Triangle street.
TRIANGLE, VA — Prince William County police yesterday revealed that two cars hit a Woodbridge woman attempting to cross a Triangle street, inflicting injuries that ultimately caused her death. After originally reporting that Zorka Vesovic, 67, was hit by a single vehicle driven by a 16-year-old girl, police said Vesovic was actually hit a second time by a second vehicle that did not stop.
Just before 7 a.m. Oct. 11, police responded to the 3600 block of Graham Park Road where officers determined the driver of a 2010 Hyundai Sonata was traveling west on Graham Park Road when the vehicle struck Vesovic. The vehicle was driven by a 16-year-old girl who remained at the scene, police said.
Vesovic was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
