Max is a 2 yr old neutered male - a Labrador / Pit Bull mix. Max is a really special dog with some really special needs and, you guessed it!, he's looking for a really special kind of person to be his forever family.
Max is very sweet and crazy smart! And when you combine his intelligence with his appetite, (Max is HIGHLY food-motivated!), there's just no limit to the things you can teach! He already does well with basic commands and he's learning more every day - he's just such FUN TO TEACH! He'll do extremely well with someone who can give him an hour or so a day of physical and mental playtime. Agility training would be REALLY FUN with this dog! On the other hand, Max also loves sticks and tennis balls and belly rubs, just as any happy-go-lucky-smarty-pants-pup would.

So here's the special part. Mr Max has seizures. Rare seizures. In fact, he hasn't had a seizure since he got here! (March 12)! But he does have them and he needs daily medication and continuing veterinary care. Too late! You already fell in love with that sweet sweet face! :0)
