Police Arrest Third Suspect In Woodbridge Shooting

Among the charges facing the three suspects are two counts of abduction.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County Police arrested a third person Nov. 21 in connection with a Sept. 30 shooting into an occupied dwelling in the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge. The suspect, Robert Robinson, 50, was charged with two counts of abduction, one count of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony, one county of obstruction of justice and one count of identify fraud.

On Oct. 1, two other suspects in the case, Jesstyn Delon Wise and Shayna Jean Kashanikhah, were arrested. Wise and Kashanikhah were each charged with two counts of abduction and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

On Sept. 30 at 10:18 p.m., Prince William County police officers responded to the scene to investigate a shooting. Several residents reported to police that they heard gunshots and observed numerous people fleeing the area. Multiple shell casings were located near an apartment building. Police also located an occupied apartment with damage to a window from the shots fired. No injuries were reported.

Police charged the three suspects with abduction because two people were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. Police said detectives are continuing their investigation into the case and are seeking to identify other suspects involved.
