Police: Business Break-Ins in Woodbridge Likely Linked

Surveillance cameras show break-ins within minutes of each other on Minnieville Road.

Prince William County Police is investigating a pair of break-ins in the overnight hours early Wednesday on Minnieville Road.

At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the Jiffy Lube located at 13300 Minnieville Road, Woodbridge, regarding one burglary. The manager reported that the incident occurred between 3:33 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Entry was made through a glass window at the back of the building that had been broken out. A laptop, computer monitor and safe were reported missing from an office.

Officers then responded to Holly Acres Marine Sales nearby at 13270 Minnieville regarding a burglary. It appears the suspect made entry between 3:26 a.m. and 4:01 a.m. through a rear office window that had been broken out.

Offices inside the building we’re entered, but nothing was reported missing.

Video surveillance provided a limited description of the suspect: male, unknown race or age, 5’10”, 170lbs with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants. Surveillance video from the Jiffy Lube showed a similar individual.
