Police: Four Teens Held Up in Two Armed Robberies

Suspects in both heists are at large, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are investigating two armed robberies at around midnight Friday - one in Woodbridge, the other in Dale City - in which four teenagers had their money stolen. No injuries were reported, and in both heists, the suspects took the money and drove away.

Police officers responded to the first robbery at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Florida Avenue in Woodbridge, according to a police report. The victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Woodbridge, told them that he and a friend were walking in the area when they were approached by a beige four-door car, possibly a Ford Taurus.

In the second armed robbery, officers responded at 1 a.m. Saturday to the scene in the 14500 block of Three Dormers Court in Dale City. The three victims, two 19-year-old men and one 18-year-old woman, all from Woodbridge, told the police they were sitting inside a parked vehicle when they were approached by an unknown man.

He pulled out a long gun and demanded money, the victims said. The suspect took their money before fleeing in a black four-door car, possibly a Hyundai Elantra, the police report said.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 18 and 25 years of age, 6 feet tall with a thin build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing black clothing, including a black and white bandana covering his face.
