Police Hunt For Rapist In Woodbridge
New details have been released in the case of a woman who was sexually assaulted Wednesday at a Woodbridge apartment building: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—New details have been released in the case of a woman who was sexually assaulted by an unknown man Wednesday at an apartment building in the 12200 block of Stevenson Court, according to Prince William County Police. The suspect is now wanted on rape charges, and he left with the woman's grey windbreaker jacket.
Police continue to canvas the area, and their presence likely will be ongoing in the coming days. The suspect is described as black, between 25-30, 5-10, unshaven, with a heavy build and a "beer belly,"short black Afro and an angel wings tattoo on his right arm. He was wearing a white t-shirt, plaid boxers and "Jordan" sneakers. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
The woman told police that she returned to the apartment building around 6:05 a.m. and was confronted by an unknown man standing in the enclosed stairwell with a gun. He attempted to sexually assault her, then forced her to the rear of the building and raped her. He then ordered her to walk into a nearby wooded area before fleeing on foot.

She told a friend about the incident, and the friend contacted police.
