Police: Man Dies Following Parkway Crash
Michael Powers was injured in Dec. 17 wreck, according to Prince William County Police.
A man injured in a wreck in the morning Dec. 17 died from his injuries on Christmas Eve, according to Prince William County Police.
The victim has been identified as Michael Thomas Powers, 52, of Woodbridge.
The wreck occurred in the 4900 block of the Prince William Parkway before 7:10 a.m. According to police, Powers’ 2003 Hyundai Elantra was heading east on the parkway when he allegedly turned in front of a 2006 Nissan Frontier.

Both vehicles collided before striking the center median. The other driver, a 51-year-old Gainesville resident had minor injuries.
At this time, there are no other contributing factors in this crash, according to police.
