The robbery and carjacking were reported shortly before 1 p.m. on July 23 in the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Drive in Triangle. The victim, a 33 year old Woodbridge woman, told police that she was contacted by Weathers, an acquaintance, who requested a ride.
The victim drove Weathers to the above location, where he exited the vehicle and walked a short distance away, the police said. When he returned, he showed a handgun to the victim, demanding her cell phone and telling her to exit the vehicle.
Weathers then took the woman’s vehicle and drove away, fleeing the area, the police said. No injuries were reported.
