The shooting occurred just before 8 a.m. on Dec. 28 in the woods near the 1200 block of Easy Street.
Detectives believe Pollard and the victim, Patricia Beglin, knew each other, and the shooting occurred due to an argument over fentanyl pills.
When police officers arrived at the scene of the shooting on Thursday, they found Beglin suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
