Police: Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting

Bryan Patterson is accused of killing a 19-year-old Woodbridge resident on Sunday.

Police have arrested the wanted suspect in the fatal shooting of a young man in Woodbridge on Sunday. A second suspect had been arrested earlier in the week, but investigators were still looking for the alleged shooter until Thursday.

Bryan Lamonte Patterson, 25, of 4716 Kirkdale Dr. in Woodbridge, is charged with murder.

Detectives received a tip that Patterson was at an address on Morning Glory Court in Manassas. Police surrounded the home on Thursday and Patterson was arrested without incident.

Police allege that Patterson shot and killed Christopher Weaver, 19, on Sunday in the 13400 block of Keating Drive. He also injured a 15-year-old. The shootings reportedly followed a neighborhood dispute on Kingsman Drive.

Arrested on Monday, Christopher John Coward, 35, of 914 Hillcrest Dr. in Vienna, is charged with murder. He is being held without bond.

Coward was identified as being at the scene of the shooting earlier in the week, he was apprehended Monday following a traffic stop in Arlington County.
