Two were shocked by the electronic device, say Prince William County police.

A 16-year-old girl is facing criminal charges for using an electronic device on two individuals during a brawl Thursday evening in Woodbridge.

The victims, a Woodbridge teenager and an Arlington man, were both “stunned” by the device, the Prince William County police said in a report Monday. They suffered minor injuries.

Witnesses at the scene recorded the fight, and police used the recording to identify the suspect who stunned both victims as the female juvenile, the police report said. The police arrested the suspect, from Woodbridge, on Friday and charged her with assault by mob and assault and battery; her next date in court was pending Monday.

Officers responded to the brawl at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Williamsburg Court and Georgetown Road, off Route 1 north of Dumfries. As they arrived, several individuals were seen dispersing and fleeing on foot, the police report said.

The officers eventually located a victim, a 17-year old male juvenile, who told the police that he and his brother were in the area when they were approached by a group of individuals. During the encounter, the victim said he was assaulted and stunned by an electronic device.

The second victim, a 57-year-old Arlington man, told police that he had attempted to intervene in the fight and was also stunned by the electronic device.
