Police: Triangle Man Shot on Tuesday Night

Firearm, shell casings found nearby, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night in Triangle that left one man wounded.

Officers responded at 11:54 p.m. to the 3600 block of Jurgensen Drive, where they found the 36-year-old victim. An unknown suspect had shot the victim in the arm, the police said.

Officers located a firearm and shell casings in the vicinity, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to a police report.

The incident did not appear to be random, the police said. The victim did not provide information on the suspect.
