Police: Two Suspects Break In and Assault Man In His Home
The unwelcome visitors are at large, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are looking for two people who forced their way into a Woodbridge man’s apartment Thursday, pistol-whipped him and tried to rob him.
One suspect is described as a black male, between 23 and 33 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds with a medium build, dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

The other suspect is described as a Hispanic female, between 20 and 30 years of age with a medium complexion and shoulder-length brown hair.

At 5:18 p.m. Thursday, police officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at an apartment in the 14100 block of Cove Landing Drive in Woodbridge, according to a police report.
The victim, a 41-year-old man, told police that he answered the door and was confronted by an unknown man and woman. The suspects forced their way into the apartment, where the man displayed a handgun and demanded money and other items.
A struggle ensued and, at one point, the suspect struck the victim in the head with the gun, the report said. The suspects eventually fled the residence and got into a white four-door sedan. Minor injuries were reported, and the area was checked by officers.
