Police: Unknown Man Accosted Woman at Woodbridge 7-11

Suspect is at large after Monday incident, say Prince William County police.

The Prince William County police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a Woodbridge woman Monday night in front of a convenience store on Route 1.

They describe the suspect aS a Hispanic male, between 30 and 40 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 130lbs with a thin build, medium complexion, short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue, red and green-striped collared shirt and blue jeans.

At 8:39 p.m. Monday, police officers responded to the report of a sexual assault at the 7-11 at 13990 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, told that she was standing in front of the store when she was approached by an unknown man.

During the encounter, the man inappropriately touched the woman, the poice said. The victim walked away from the man, who then left the area.

No injuries were reported and no further contact was made, the police said. The officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect.
