Portsmouth Man Identified As Suspect In Woodbridge Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police detectives identified a suspect Friday in connection with a Feb. 25 robbery in Woodbridge. Police detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as David Clarke Tucker Jr., 26, from Portsmouth, Virginia.

At 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 14100 block of Carmody Place in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 40-year-old woman, reported to police that she was approached by an unknown man as she exited her vehicle in the area.

During the encounter, Tucker allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded her property. He took the victim’s fanny pack containing personal items before fleeing in a light colored four-door sedan, the police said. No injuries were reported.

Described as six-feet tall and 150 pounds with a tattoo on his neck, Tucker is wanted for robbery, credit card theft and credit card fraud. The booking photo of Tucker provided by the Prince William County police is from last October.
