The Prince
William Art Society will be awarding this year's Jewell Pratt Burns
Scholarships at their monthly meeting on Wednesday May 21. The presentation will be at 12184 Chaucer
Lane in Woodbridge Va. The scholarship is competitive. It is based on portfolios and interviews, and
is open to Prince William County graduating students in public schools, private
schools or who are home-schooled and are perusing a degree in art. Past winners may be viewed from the
PrinceWilliamArtSociety.org home page by clicking the tab at the top for
"scholarships". This year there will be two $1,000 awards. The
greeting card gift packs which fund these scholarships can be viewed by
clicking the "on-line store" tab.
