Prince William County Cop Arrested For Domestic Assault
Two years after being arrested for domestic assault, a Prince William County police officer has been busted on the same charge: PWC Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA—Two years after being arrested for domestic assault, a Prince William County police officer has been busted on the same charge, according to Prince William County Police. Robert Edward Donnan, 41, of the 15500 block of Laurel Ridge Road in Dumfries, was charged with domestic assault and battery.
On Sept 6 shortly after 8 p.m., police responded to the aforementioned residence for a reported assault. The victim, a 52-year-old woman, said she and Donnan were in an argument that escalated, during which he pushed her. He was arrested, and "his police powers have been suspended pending an internal investigation.
In September 2016, Donnan was arrested for domestic assault in Dumfries after a 51-year-old woman reported being assaulted during an argument. He was suspended then, as well.
